I've always liked the Transformers since I was a kid. I remember waiting for every new episode on Saturdays.

Nostalgia...I tried watching an episode now and boy, it sucked. And don't even get me started on Megatron and Soundwave. I mean, how does a handheld cassete recorder turn into a 20-ft robot? But hey, the shows were basically an infomercial for the toys.

Today's toys are just...wow. You can actually POSE them. I still have some of my old Transformers. I took them out and maybe try some photos and they just stand there. You get more posability from Lego minfigs.

CAD is such a wonderful thing; it makes photographing Transformers toys in their robot modes such a joy. Also, with the exception of the Animated line, they look like actual vehicles now. A lot from the movie line aren't actually obvious as robots. Photos of the alt modes later.
